No. 00 How it works

What happens after you add a source.

You don't configure anything. You hand the librarian something worth keeping — an article, a PDF, a highlight — and it does the upkeep a person never sustains. Here is that one pass, start to finish.

No. 01 The life of a source

One ingest. Five jobs done for you.

01

You hand it a source

Drop in a link, a PDF, or a highlight. No tags, no folder, no “where should this live?” That decision is the librarian's job, not yours.

02

It reads and files

The agent reads the whole thing, decides which existing pages it belongs on, and rewrites those pages to absorb the new claim — not as a pasted quote, but woven into what the page already says.

03

It links to what you know

It lays cross-references between the new material and everything related you've already kept — so an insight is never stranded on a page nothing points to.

04

It audits what it touched

Then it checks the neighborhood for rot: claims that now contradict each other, statements gone stale, pages with no way in. It surfaces them with citations — you didn't have to ask.

⚑ 1 conflict · 2 stale claims · 0 orphans
05

It reconciles — and shows its work

It resolves the conflict, prunes the stale line, and records every edit as a diff you can read and revert. The page is left trustworthy, and nothing it did is hidden or permanent.

No. 02 Self-auditing health

The four ways a second brain quietly rots — watched continuously.

These are the failure modes nobody audits by hand. The librarian checks for them on its own, between every ingest, and tells you with receipts.

Conflict

Contradictions

Two pages now disagree. The agent finds the pair, cites both, and proposes which still holds.

Stale · 60d

Claims gone stale

A statement that was true when you saved it, isn't anymore. It's flagged before you rely on it again.

Backlinks · 0

Orphaned pages

A page nothing links to is a page you'll never find. The agent wires it back into the structure.

Missing link

Connections you missed

Two ideas that belong together but were never joined. It draws the cross-reference for you.

No. 03 Why it's safe to let run

Autonomy you don't have to babysit.

A · Diffed

Every change is shown

No silent mutations. Each edit is a before/after you can read line by line.

B · Attributed

Every claim has a source

Trace any sentence back to the material that justified it.

C · Undoable

Nothing is a one-way door

One click reverts any edit, any time. The history is the substrate, not an afterthought.
